Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the internal lithium polymer battery. Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the player and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Charging typically takes several hours. The unit can be used while charging.

2. Connecting Power Adapters

  • AC Power Adapter: For home use, connect the AC adapter to the DC IN port and a wall outlet.
  • Car Power Adapter: For in-vehicle use, connect the car adapter to the DC IN port and your vehicle's 12V power socket (cigarette lighter).

3. Connecting the Digital TV Antenna

To receive digital TV broadcasts, screw the provided ATSC antenna into the ANT IN port on the player. Extend the antenna fully for best reception. For stronger signals, an external antenna can be connected.

4. Connecting Headphones

Plug the included headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack for private listening. The built-in speakers will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

5. Connecting External Devices (Optional)

  • RCA Output: Use the RCA cable to connect the player's AV OUT to a larger TV or monitor for displaying content.
  • RCA Input: Use the RCA cable to connect an external video source (e.g., game console) to the player's AV IN to use its screen as a monitor.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Slide the POWER switch to the ON position to turn on the player. The screen will illuminate. To turn off, slide the POWER switch to the OFF position.

2. DVD Playback

  1. Open the disc cover gently.
  2. Place a DVD or CD disc onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Close the disc cover.
  4. The player will automatically detect and begin playing the disc. If a menu appears, use the directional buttons on the player or remote to navigate and select your desired option.
  5. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, FORWARD, and REVERSE buttons for playback control.

3. Digital TV Operation

  1. Ensure the ATSC antenna is properly connected and extended.
  2. Turn on the player.
  3. Press the SOURCE button to select the TV input.
  4. The first time you use the TV function, you will need to perform an auto-scan for channels. Navigate to the TV menu using the MENU button and select "Auto Scan" or "Channel Search."
  5. Once scanning is complete, use the CH+/CH- buttons to change channels.

4. USB/SD Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.
  2. Press the SOURCE button to select USB or SD input.
  3. A file browser will appear. Use the directional buttons to navigate through your files (videos, music, photos) and press ENTER to select and play.

5. Screen Adjustment

The 10.1-inch screen can be tilted and swiveled up to 180 degrees. Adjust the screen to your preferred viewing angle for comfort and optimal visibility.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit's exterior. For the screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics screens. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
