Using the Water Flosser
For optimal results, follow these steps:
- Position Yourself: Lean over the sink and place the tip in your mouth. Close your lips enough to prevent splashing while allowing water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
- Start Flossing: Turn the unit ON by pressing the power button on the base. Then, slide the water ON/OFF switch on the handle to start the water flow.
- Aim the Tip: Direct the water stream at a 90-degree angle to your gumline. Begin with the back teeth and work your way towards the front. Glide the tip along the gumline, pausing briefly between teeth.
- Clean All Areas: Ensure you floss both the inside and outside surfaces of your upper and lower teeth. The 360-degree rotating tip allows for easy access to all areas.
- Timer/Pacer: The built-in timer/pacer will briefly pause at 30 seconds and 1 minute to help you track your flossing time and ensure thorough cleaning of all quadrants of your mouth.
- Finish: When finished, slide the water ON/OFF switch on the handle to OFF, then press the power button on the base to turn the unit OFF. Empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
