Model: 15-0146

1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your Mi-T-M High Pressure Hose, Model 15-0146. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation or operation to ensure proper handling and to prevent injury or damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Information

Always observe the following safety precautions when using the high-pressure hose:

  • High Pressure Hazard: The hose carries water at extremely high pressure. Never direct the spray at people, animals, or electrical equipment.
  • Inspect Before Use: Before each use, inspect the hose for cuts, abrasions, bulges, or any signs of damage. Do not use a damaged hose.
  • Proper Connections: Ensure all connections are tight and secure before operating the pressure washer. Leaking connections can cause injury or damage.
  • Pressure Rating: Ensure the hose's pressure rating meets or exceeds the maximum output pressure of your pressure washer. This hose is rated for 4000 PSI.
  • Kinks and Bends: Avoid kinking or sharply bending the hose during use or storage, as this can weaken the hose structure and lead to failure.
  • Temperature: Do not expose the hose to temperatures exceeding its rated limit.
  • Storage: Store the hose properly coiled in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sharp objects.

3. Setup

Follow these steps to properly connect your Mi-T-M High Pressure Hose:

  1. Uncoil the Hose: Fully uncoil the high-pressure hose, ensuring there are no kinks or twists.
  2. Connect to Pressure Washer: Attach one end of the high-pressure hose to the high-pressure outlet on your pressure washer. Hand-tighten securely, then use a wrench to ensure a snug, leak-free connection.
  3. Connect to Spray Gun: Attach the other end of the high-pressure hose to the inlet of your pressure washer spray gun. Hand-tighten securely, then use a wrench.
  4. Check Compatibility: This hose is compatible with various Mi-T-M pressure washer models, including but not limited to: GC-1003-SME1, GC-2004-SME1, GH-0703-LS10, GH-1002-SM10, GH-1002-0M10, GH-1502-LM10, GH-1502-SM10, GH-1502-0M10, GH-2003-SM10, GH-2003-0M10, GH-2004-1230, GH-2403-3MGH, GH-2504-SM10, GH-2504-SM30, GH-2504-0M10, GH-2504-0M30, GH-3003-3MGH.

4. Operating

Once the hose is securely connected, follow your pressure washer's operating instructions. Remember these general guidelines:

  • Water Supply: Ensure a steady and adequate water supply to the pressure washer before starting the engine/motor.
  • Bleed Air: Before starting the pressure washer, squeeze the spray gun trigger to bleed air from the system until a steady stream of water emerges.
  • Start Pressure Washer: Start the pressure washer according to its manufacturer's instructions.
  • Maintain Distance: Keep a safe distance from the cleaning surface to avoid damage.
  • Shut Down: When finished, turn off the pressure washer, then squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system before disconnecting the hose.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance extends the life of your high-pressure hose:

  • Clean After Use: Rinse the hose with clean water after each use to remove any chemical residues or dirt.
  • Inspect Regularly: Periodically inspect the entire length of the hose for wear, cuts, bulges, or damage to the fittings. Replace the hose immediately if any damage is found.
  • Proper Storage: Coil the hose neatly after use. Store it in a cool, dry, and dark place, protected from freezing temperatures and direct sunlight. Avoid hanging the hose on sharp objects.
  • Avoid Kinks: Always store the hose without kinks or sharp bends.
