Setup Instructions

1. Assemble the Light Stand:

   Unfold the light stand by extending its legs. For maximum stability, ensure the center joint of the legs is positioned approximately 4-8 inches (10-20cm) from the ground. The legs are designed to unfold upwards, so invert the stand to properly extend them.

2. Attach the Ring Light to the Stand:

   Securely mount the 18-inch LED ring light onto the top of the light stand. Ensure all locking mechanisms are tightened to prevent movement.

3. Install Color Filters (Optional):

   If desired, snap the white or orange color filters onto the front of the ring light. These filters are designed for easy attachment and removal.

4. Attach Soft Tube and Device Holder:

   Screw the soft tube into the designated port on the ring light. Attach the ball head hot shoe adapter for DSLR cameras or the smartphone holder to the soft tube or directly to the ring light's mounting point. Ensure your device (camera or smartphone) is securely fastened to prevent accidental drops.

5. Connect Power:

   Plug the universal power adapter into the ring light's power input, then connect the adapter to a suitable power outlet.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment:

Locate the dimmer knob on the bottom of the ring light. Rotate the knob to turn the light on or off and to adjust the brightness level from 1% to 100%. The light features a special LED SMD design, ensuring low heat output and environmental protection.

Using Color Filters:

The kit includes white and orange color filters. The white filters provide a standard 5600K daylight color temperature, while the orange filters can be used to achieve a warmer, 3200K tungsten-like effect. Simply snap the desired filters onto the front of the LED ring light.

Angle Adjustment:

The soft tube allows for flexible positioning of the ring light. Adjust the angle of the light by gently bending the soft tube to direct illumination precisely where needed. The ring light itself can also be tilted up to 180 degrees on its mount.

Smartphone and Camera Use:

Utilize the included smartphone holder to mount your mobile device in the center of the ring light for optimal lighting during video calls, selfies, or content creation. For DSLR cameras, attach the ball head hot shoe adapter to the ring light and then mount your camera.

Bluetooth Remote Control:

The included Bluetooth shutter release allows for wireless control of your smartphone's camera function, enabling convenient remote photo and video capture.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the ring light and stand. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
• Storage: When not in use, disassemble the ring light and store it in the provided carrying bag. Store the light stand separately in a dry, cool place. Proper storage helps protect the equipment from dust and damage.

  • Ensure the light stand legs are fully extended and locked into place.
  • Confirm that the center joint of the legs is positioned 4-8 inches (10-20cm) from the ground for optimal stability. Raising the legs too high can reduce stability.
  • Place the stand on a flat, stable surface.
• Smartphone Not Secure in Holder:
  • Ensure the smartphone holder's grip is fully tightened around your device.
  • Always double-check the security of your phone before leaving it unattended.
• Missing Components:
