4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The remote control requires 5 AAA batteries. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
4.2 Initial Power On and Zeroing
Place the scale on a stable, level surface. Connect the wired remote control to the scale. Press the 'POWER' button on the remote to turn on both the scale and the remote. The display will flash from '0000' to '9999' and then settle. Press the 'ZERO' button to tare the scale and set the display to '0.000'. This ensures accurate measurements.

4.3 Connecting the Charging Valve
Before any charging or recovery operation, connect the charging valve to the scale. Then, connect the valve to the refrigerant hoses. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Unit Conversion
The LMC-300 supports three units of measurement: kilograms (Kg), pounds (Lb), and ounces (Oz). To switch between units, press the 'UNIT' button on the remote control.

5.2 Charging Process
- Ensure the scale is zeroed and the charging valve is correctly connected.
- Press the 'CHARGE' button on the remote control.
- Use the numeric keypad to enter the desired refrigerant charge value.
- Press the 'ENTER' button to open the valve and begin the charging process.
- The scale will automatically monitor the weight. Once the programmed charge level is reached, the valve will shut off automatically, and an alarm will sound.
- Press any button on the remote to stop the alarm.
5.3 Recovery Process
- Ensure the scale is zeroed and the charging valve is correctly connected.
- Press the 'RECOVERY' button on the remote control.
- Use the numeric keypad to enter the desired refrigerant recovery value.
- Press the 'ENTER' button to open the valve and begin the recovery process.
- The scale will automatically monitor the weight. Once the programmed recovery level is reached, the valve will shut off automatically, and an alarm will sound.
- Press any button on the remote to stop the alarm.
5.4 Repeat Function
To repeat the last charging or recovery operation with the same stored amount, simply press the 'REPEAT' button on the remote control.
5.5 Power Off
When your task is complete, press and hold the 'POWER' button for approximately 3 seconds. Both the scale and the remote will shut down.
