4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the motion sensor.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two (2) 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). The batteries are included with the product.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Mounting the Sensor

The sensor is designed for wall mounting (Wandmontage).

  1. Choose a suitable location for installation. For optimal performance, place the sensor in a corner or on a wall where it can cover the desired area without obstruction. Avoid placing it directly facing windows or heat sources.
  2. Use the provided mounting bracket or screw hole on the back of the sensor (refer to Figure 3.2 and 3.3 for mounting point).
  3. Secure the sensor firmly to the wall using appropriate screws and wall plugs (not included unless specified).
  4. Adjust the sensor's angle to ensure optimal detection coverage within its 110-degree angle and 8-meter range.

4.3. System Integration

This motion sensor is designed for integration with compatible Avidsen alarm systems (e.g., Ref. 100725, 100728). Refer to your alarm system's manual for specific pairing instructions. The sensor utilizes bi-directional communication and operates on a 433MHz RF frequency.

6.1. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, keep the sensor's detection window clean. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the device.

When the batteries are low, the sensor or your connected alarm system will typically provide an indication. Replace both AA batteries simultaneously to ensure consistent power. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in Section 4.1.
