1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the heater from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packing materials, including any protective films or tapes.
  3. Inspect the heater for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact your retailer.

4.2 Placement

  • Place the heater on a firm, level, and non-combustible surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space around the heater from any combustible materials such as curtains, furniture, or walls.
  • Do not place the heater near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas with excessive humidity.
  • Ensure the room has adequate ventilation.

4.3 Fuel Filling

The Tectro SRE 1330 TC-2C operates on kerosene. Use only clear, high-quality kerosene (paraffin) specifically designed for liquid fuel heaters.

  1. Ensure the heater is turned OFF and unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Allow the heater to cool down completely if it has been recently operated.
  3. Locate the fuel tank cap, usually at the top or side of the heater.
  4. Carefully remove the fuel tank cap.
  5. Using a clean funnel, slowly pour kerosene into the fuel tank. Do not overfill; observe the fuel level indicator. The tank capacity is 5 liters.
  6. Securely replace the fuel tank cap.
  7. Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately with a clean cloth.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  1. Plug the heater into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button. The heater will initiate its startup sequence, which may take a few minutes.
  3. To turn off the heater, press the ON/OFF button again. The heater will enter a cool-down cycle before completely shutting down.

5.2 Setting Temperature

  • Once the heater is on, use the + and - buttons on the control panel to adjust the desired room temperature.
  • The digital display will show the set temperature. The heater will automatically adjust its output to maintain this temperature.

5.3 Timer Function

  • Press the TIMER button to activate the timer function.
  • Use the + and - buttons to set the desired time for the heater to turn on or off.
  • Confirm the setting by pressing the TIMER button again or waiting a few seconds.

5.4 Child Lock

  • To prevent accidental changes to settings, press and hold the CHILD LOCK button for a few seconds until the lock indicator appears on the display.
  • To deactivate, press and hold the CHILD LOCK button again until the indicator disappears.

6.1 Cleaning the Heater

  • Always turn off and unplug the heater before cleaning. Allow it to cool completely.

6.3 Storage
