4.1 Site Selection

  • Choose a location that is easily accessible for maintenance and away from direct sunlight or freezing temperatures.
  • Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the full weight of the water heater when filled with water (approx. 15 kg + 15 liters = 30 kg).
  • The location should have proper ventilation and drainage.

4.2 Mounting the Water Heater

  1. Use the provided wall fixing card to mark the drilling points on the wall.
  2. Drill holes and insert appropriate wall plugs.
  3. Secure the mounting bracket (if separate) or the water heater directly to the wall using the provided screws.
  4. Ensure the water heater is level and securely fastened.

4.3 Plumbing Connections

  1. Connect the cold water inlet pipe to the blue marked inlet on the water heater.
  2. Connect the hot water outlet pipe to the red marked outlet on the water heater.
  3. Install the Multi-Function Valve (MFV) on the cold water inlet line as per the diagram in the full installation guide. This valve acts as a non-return valve, pressure relief valve, and drain valve.
  4. Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free.
  5. Open the hot water tap in your bathroom to allow air to escape while the tank fills with water.
  6. Once water flows steadily from the hot water tap, close the tap. The tank is now full.

  • Ensure the main power supply is OFF before making any electrical connections.
  • Connect the water heater to a dedicated electrical circuit with appropriate earthing.
  • The electrical wiring must comply with local electrical codes.
