Maintenance

Waterproof Care (IPX7)

The JBL Pulse 3 is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be immersed in water up to 1 meter (3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. To ensure its waterproof integrity:

  • Always ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
  • Do not expose the speaker to salt water or other liquids besides fresh water. If exposed, rinse with fresh water and air dry thoroughly.
  • Avoid using the speaker in extreme temperatures.

Cleaning

To clean the speaker, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals, as these may damage the finish or the waterproof seals.

Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) before storing to prolong battery life.
