Key Features:

  • Sound Isolating Design: Blocks up to 37 dB of ambient noise.
  • Dynamic MicroDriver: Delivers detailed sound with enhanced bass.
  • Detachable Cable: Durable, reinforced cable with formable wire for secure placement.
  • Comfortable Fit: Includes multiple sizes of sound isolating sleeves for personalized comfort.

Setup

1. Attaching the Cable:

  1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) indicators on the earphone units and the cable connectors. This product is for the left side only, so ensure you are using the correct earphone unit.
  2. Align the colored dot on the cable connector with the colored dot on the earphone unit (e.g., blue for left).
  3. Push the connector firmly into the earphone unit until it clicks into place. Do not force it.

2. Selecting and Installing Eartips:

Proper eartip selection is crucial for sound isolation and bass response. Experiment with the included eartips to find the best fit for your ear canal.

  • Foam Sleeves: Compress the foam sleeve by rolling it between your fingers before inserting it into your ear. Hold it in place for 10-15 seconds while the foam expands to create a seal.
  • Soft Flex Sleeves: Simply push the sleeve into your ear canal until a comfortable seal is achieved.

3. Wearing the Earphones:

The SE215 earphones are designed to be worn with the cable over the ear for a secure fit and to reduce cable noise.

  1. Insert the earphone into your ear canal.
  2. Wrap the cable over the top of your ear and behind your head. The formable wire section of the cable should be molded to fit snugly around your ear.
  3. Adjust the cable cinch to secure the cable behind your head.

Operating Your Earphones

Connecting to Audio Source:

Plug the 3.5 mm jack of the earphone cable into the headphone output of your audio device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, music player, computer). Ensure the connection is secure.

Volume Control:

Adjust the volume directly on your audio device. The SE215 earphones do not feature inline volume controls.

Sound Isolation:

For optimal sound isolation, ensure a proper seal is achieved with the selected eartips. A good seal will significantly reduce ambient noise and enhance bass response.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Earphones:

  • Regularly remove eartips and clean them with a damp cloth. Allow them to dry completely before reattaching.
  • Use the provided cleaning tool to gently remove any earwax or debris from the nozzle of the earphone unit. Be careful not to push debris further into the nozzle.
  • Wipe the earphone body and cable with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Storage:

When not in use, store your SE215 earphones in the included carrying case to protect them from dust, moisture, and physical damage. Avoid extreme temperatures.

Cable Care:

Avoid sharply bending or twisting the cable. When disconnecting, pull from the connector, not the cable itself. The detachable cable design allows for easy replacement if damaged.
