Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Ensure all components, including the water tank, drip tray, and capsule container, are present and undamaged.
2. Placement: Place the machine on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from water splashes and heat sources. Ensure adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access to the water tank and capsule container.
3. Rinsing the Water Tank: Before first use, wash the water tank, drip tray, and cup support with clean water.
4. Filling the Water Tank: Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
5. First Use / Rinsing Cycle:
   • Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet.
   • Place a container (at least 0.5 liters) under the coffee outlet.
   • Press the button on top of the machine to turn it on. The button will blink while heating up (approximately 15 seconds).
   • Once the button is steady, press it three times quickly to start the rinsing cycle. The machine will dispense hot water.
   • Repeat the rinsing cycle if desired. The machine is ready for use when the button is steady.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Ensure the machine is plugged in and the water tank is filled. Press the button on top to turn on the machine. Wait for the button to become steady (approximately 15 seconds).
2. Open Head: Unlock the machine head by rotating the lever counter-clockwise to the "unlock" position and lifting the head.
3. Insert Capsule: Place a Nespresso VertuoLine capsule into the machine, ensuring it is correctly seated.
4. Close Head: Close the machine head and lock it by rotating the lever clockwise to the "lock" position.
5. Place Cup: Position a cup of appropriate size under the coffee outlet.
6. Brew Coffee/Espresso: Press the button once. The machine will automatically read the barcode on the capsule and brew the coffee or espresso according to the specific blend. The button will blink during brewing.
7. Enjoy: Once brewing is complete, the button will become steady. Remove your cup.
8. Automatic Capsule Ejection: When the head is opened after brewing, the used capsule will automatically be ejected into the used capsule container.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Water Tank: Regularly clean the water tank with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Refill with fresh water daily.
• Emptying the Used Capsule Container: Empty and clean the used capsule container and drip tray regularly. The container holds approximately 17 used capsules.
• Cleaning the Machine Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or immerse the machine in water.
