Setup
Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied USB to Micro USB cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Charging typically takes approximately 2 hours.
Powering On/Off
Press and hold the ON/OFF button located on the top of the speaker for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light. Repeat the process to power off the speaker.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (a blue indicator light may flash rapidly).
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices. The speaker will appear as "iJoy Beach Bomb" or similar.
- Select "iJoy Beach Bomb" to connect. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the indicator light will typically turn solid blue or flash slowly.
- If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if that device is within range and has Bluetooth enabled.
Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
- Next Track: Press the Next Track button.
- Previous Track: Press the Previous Track button.
- Volume Up: Press the Volume Up button.
- Volume Down: Press the Volume Down button.
Hands-Free Calling
- Answer Call: When a call comes in, press the Play/Pause/Answer Call button to answer.
- End Call: During a call, press the Play/Pause/End Call button to end the conversation.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause/Answer Call button for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.
Using AUX Input
Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN port on the speaker and the other end to the audio output jack of your device. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode. Control playback and volume from your connected device.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
