Setup

Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the LA10 lantern.
2. Insert one AA battery (included) into the battery compartment, ensuring the positive (+) terminal faces towards the head of the lantern.
3. Securely screw the tail cap back on. The lantern features reverse polarity protection to prevent damage from incorrectly inserted batteries.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off and Brightness Adjustment

The Nitecore LA10 utilizes a simple twist mechanism for operation:

• To Turn On: Tighten the tail cap until the light illuminates.
• To Adjust Brightness: After turning on, loosen the tail cap slightly and then tighten it again within 2 seconds to cycle through the brightness levels (High, Mid, Low, Location Beacon).
• To Turn Off: Loosen the tail cap completely.
