Setup
Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the LA10 lantern.
- Insert one AA battery (included) into the battery compartment, ensuring the positive (+) terminal faces towards the head of the lantern.
- Securely screw the tail cap back on. The lantern features reverse polarity protection to prevent damage from incorrectly inserted batteries.
Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off and Brightness Adjustment
The Nitecore LA10 utilizes a simple twist mechanism for operation:
- To Turn On: Tighten the tail cap until the light illuminates.
- To Adjust Brightness: After turning on, loosen the tail cap slightly and then tighten it again within 2 seconds to cycle through the brightness levels (High, Mid, Low, Location Beacon).
- To Turn Off: Loosen the tail cap completely.
