4. Product Overview

5. Setup

5.1 Attaching the Camera

1. Locate the quick release plate on the ball head.
2. Unscrew the locking knob on the ball head to remove the quick release plate.
3. Attach the quick release plate to the bottom of your camera by screwing the 1/4-inch screw into the camera's tripod socket. Ensure it is tightened securely.
4. Slide the quick release plate with the camera back into the ball head clamp. Tighten the locking knob to secure the camera in place.

5.2 Extending the Tripod Legs

1. Release the leg flip locks on each leg section.
2. Extend the legs to the desired height. For maximum stability, extend the thickest sections first.
3. Securely close all flip locks to prevent the legs from collapsing.

5.3 Adjusting Leg Angles

1. Each leg has an angle adjustment tab near the top.
2. Press the tab and move the leg to one of the three available angle positions.
3. Ensure all three legs are set to the same angle for optimal stability, unless intentionally using different angles for uneven surfaces.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Height Adjustment

The tripod's height can be adjusted using the leg sections and the center column. The maximum height is approximately 193 cm (75.9 inches).

1. Leg Sections: Extend or retract the four leg sections using the flip locks.
2. Center Column: Loosen the center column locking knob, extend the column to the desired height, and then tighten the knob securely.

6.2 Transverse Center Column

The center column can be rotated 360 degrees horizontally and moved from 0 to 180 degrees, allowing for overhead, low-angle, and macro photography.

1. Loosen the center column locking knob.
2. Pull the center column upwards until it clears the tripod base.
3. Tilt the center column to a horizontal position (0 to 180 degrees).
4. Rotate the column 360 degrees as needed.
5. Tighten the center column locking knob to secure it in the desired position.

6.3 360-Degree Panoramic Shooting

The ball head allows for smooth 360-degree rotation, ideal for panoramic photography. The integrated bubble level assists in achieving accurate composition.

1. Ensure the camera is securely mounted on the ball head.
2. Loosen the panoramic rotation knob located at the base of the ball head.
3. Rotate the camera to capture your panoramic sequence.
4. Tighten the panoramic rotation knob to lock the position.

6.4 Monopod Conversion

One of the tripod legs can be detached and combined with the center column to form a monopod, useful for situations requiring portability and quick setup.

1. Unscrew the designated leg from the tripod chassis.
2. Unscrew the center column from the tripod chassis.
3. Screw the detached leg onto the bottom of the center column.
4. The ball head can remain attached to the top of the center column for monopod use.

6.5 Low-Angle and Inverted Shooting

The tripod's design allows for extremely low-angle shots and inverted camera positioning for macro photography or unique perspectives.

• Low-Angle: Utilize the leg angle adjusters to spread the legs wide, or use the transverse center column.
• Inverted: Remove the center column, invert it, and reattach it to the tripod base with the camera facing downwards.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Lubrication: Moving parts generally do not require lubrication. If any mechanism feels stiff, consult customer support.
• Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and dust.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Tripod is unstable.

• Ensure all leg sections are fully extended and their flip locks are securely closed.

• Check that the center column locking knob is tightened.
• Ensure the camera is properly mounted and the quick release plate is securely locked into the ball head.

8.2 Ball head movement is stiff or loose.

• Adjust the main locking knob on the ball head to control the friction and movement.

8.3 Center column does not move smoothly.
