Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Hometech Air Fryer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Appliance does not turn on. | Not plugged in; Lid not properly closed/aligned. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Verify the lid is fully aligned and closed. |
| Food is not cooked evenly. | Overcrowding the basket; Incorrect temperature/time settings. | Do not overcrowd the cooking bowl. Cook in smaller batches if necessary. Adjust temperature and time according to food type and quantity. The 3D heating technology minimizes the need for shaking, but for very dense items, a mid-cycle check might be beneficial. |
| White smoke coming from the appliance. | Grease residue from previous use; High fat content food. | Clean the bowl and accessories thoroughly after each use. For high-fat foods, drain excess fat during cooking if possible, or use a small amount of water at the bottom of the bowl to reduce smoke. |
| Appliance suddenly stops during operation. | Lid opened during operation; Overheating protection activated. | The appliance has a safety feature that stops operation if the lid is opened. Close the lid securely to resume. If it's due to overheating, unplug and let it cool down for 30 minutes before restarting. |
