1. Introduction

The Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale is designed for accurate and immediate weighing of food items and ingredients. It features advanced sensor technology and an enlarged weighing platform to accommodate various bowls and food items. 3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Ensure the scale is placed on a flat, stable surface before use for accurate readings.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• To turn on the scale, press the TARE/POWER button. The display will show '0'.
• To turn off the scale, press and hold the TARE/POWER button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features a programmable 2-to-5-minute automatic power-off setting to conserve battery life.

4.2 Unit Conversion

• Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available units of measurement: grams (g), pounds (lbs), pounds:ounces (lbs:oz), ounces (oz), milliliters (ml), and kilograms (kg).

4.3 Tare Function

• Place an empty container on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
• Press the TARE/POWER button. The display will reset to '0', effectively subtracting the container's weight.
• You can now add ingredients to the container, and the scale will display only the net weight of the ingredients.

4.4 Weighing Items

1. Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface and powered on, displaying '0'.
2. Place the item(s) directly onto the weighing platform or into a tared container.
3. Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.

7. Troubleshooting

• Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface. Avoid placing it near vibrating appliances or in direct drafts.
• Display shows 'UnSt': This indicates an unstable surface. Move the scale to a firm, level surface.
• Display shows 'Lo': Batteries are low. Replace the 2 AAA batteries.
• Scale does not turn on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted.
