3. Setup Instructions

1. Prepare Your Bed: Ensure your mattress is clean and dry.
2. Place the Mattress Pad: Lay the heated mattress pad directly on top of your mattress with the quilted side facing up. Ensure the connector for the controller is positioned at the foot of the bed.
3. Secure the Pad: The fitted skirt is designed to stretch and fit snugly around mattresses up to 18 inches deep. Pull the elasticized edges under the mattress to secure the pad in place.
4. Connect the Controller: Plug the controller cord into the connector on the mattress pad. Ensure a secure connection.
5. Plug into Power: Plug the power cord into a 110-120V AC electrical outlet. The controller cord is 12ft long, and the power cord is 6ft long, providing ample reach.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Beautyrest Heated Mattress Pad is easy to operate with its digital controller.

• Power On/Off: Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn the pad on or off.
• Adjust Heat Settings: Use the 'UP' and 'DOWN' arrows to select your desired heat level from 1 to 5.
• Pre-Heat Function: Press the 'PRE-HEAT' button to activate a 1-hour rapid warming cycle. After 1 hour, the pad will automatically revert to your last selected heat setting.
• Auto-Shutoff: The pad is equipped with a 10-hour auto-shutoff feature for your safety and energy efficiency.

5. Care and Maintenance

Your heated mattress pad is machine washable for easy care.

1. Disconnect Controller: Always detach the controller from the mattress pad before washing.

6. Troubleshooting

• Problem: The controller light is blinking.
  Solution: If an ERROR is detected, the controller display will show an 'E' followed by a number, and the power to the heating element will not be turned on. Follow the instructions in your manual for specific troubleshooting steps or contact customer service.
• Problem: Only parts of my heated mattress pad are getting warm.
  Solution: This is normally caused by one area of the heating element being bunched or pinched. First, ensure that the heated mattress pad is laid flat and not tucked in, bunched, and does not have anything heavy on it. Lay the heated mattress pad flat and run your fingers along the wire, paying special attention to the top and bottom of the heated mattress pad where the wire bends. If any portion of the wire is twisted on itself, manually twist it back.
• Problem: My controller feels warm to the touch.
  Solution: The control will feel warm (not hot) to the touch when functioning properly. Even when the controller is on, small amounts of electricity will cycle through it, which may make the controller warm. If the controller gets hot to the touch, please contact customer service.
