Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation. Ensure power is disconnected before starting.
Step 1: Prepare the Opening
Measure and cut an appropriate opening in the ceiling for the fan housing. Refer to the product dimensions in the specifications section.
Step 2: Remove Front Panel
Carefully remove the screws securing the front panel of the fan housing. Once screws are removed, detach the front section.

Step 3: Install Suspension Brackets
Attach the provided suspension brackets to the fan housing. These brackets are designed to extend and secure the fan to ceiling joists. Adjust the brackets to fit the spacing of your joists.

Step 4: Electrical Wiring
Connect the fan's electrical wiring to your household wiring. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes. The fan includes grounding and fan connections.
Step 5: Connect Ductwork
Attach the appropriate ductwork to the 6-inch duct collar on the fan housing. Ensure a tight seal to prevent air leakage.
Step 6: Reattach Grille
Once the fan is securely mounted and wired, reattach the front panel and grille. Secure it with the previously removed screws.

Operation
The BV-BF-04 exhaust fan operates via a standard wall switch. Simply toggle the switch to turn the fan ON or OFF. The fan is designed for continuous operation if desired.
Maintenance
