4. Operating Instructions
- Grip: Hold the disc firmly with your dominant hand, ensuring your fingers are comfortably wrapped around the rim. The flexible material is designed for an easy and secure grip.
- Stance: Stand with your body facing your target, with your non-dominant foot forward.
- Throwing: Bring the disc back across your body and then snap your wrist forward, releasing the disc with a smooth, level motion towards your target. Experiment with different angles and speeds to achieve various flight paths and trick shots.
- Catching: Be ready to catch the disc with both hands. The flexible material makes catching less impactful on your hands.
- Trick Shots: Utilize the disc's design to attempt various trick shots and stunts, as demonstrated by Dude Perfect. Practice makes perfect!
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the disc, wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before storage.
- Storage: Store the disc indoors, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (both hot and cold). Prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions can affect the material's flexibility and durability.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the disc for any signs of wear, tear, or damage. Discontinue use if the disc is significantly damaged to prevent injury or further deterioration.
6. Troubleshooting
- Disc not flying straight: This is often due to throwing technique. Ensure a smooth, level release with a proper wrist snap. Practice in an open area to refine your throw.
- Reduced flight distance: Check for any debris or damage on the disc's surface that might affect its aerodynamics. A clean, undamaged disc will perform best.
- Material feels stiff/brittle: This can occur from prolonged exposure to extreme cold or heat. Store the disc indoors in a moderate temperature environment. If the material has become permanently brittle, it may be time to replace the disc.
