4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting Rod Length

The horizontal rods are extendable from 42.75 inches to 67.75 inches. To extend, simply pull the inner rod outwards from the main rod. To retract, push the inner rod back in until it is flush with the main rod. This allows for flexible hanging space depending on your needs.

4.2 Adjusting Upper Rod Height

The upper horizontal rods can be adjusted vertically. Locate the spring-loaded buttons on the vertical support poles. Press these buttons and slide the upper rod assembly up or down to your desired height. Ensure the buttons click securely into place at the chosen height setting.

4.3 Using Casters/Wheels

The garment rack is equipped with heavy-duty 4-inch casters for easy mobility. Two of these casters include locking mechanisms. To lock a wheel, press down on the lever located on the caster. To unlock, lift the lever. It is recommended to lock at least two wheels when the rack is stationary to prevent unintended movement.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the chrome metal surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Tighten any loose fasteners to maintain stability and safety.
  • Caster Care: Keep the casters free of debris (hair, lint, etc.) to ensure smooth rolling.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Rack is Unstable: Ensure all screws are tightened securely. Verify that the vertical support poles are fully inserted and locked into place.
  • Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly: Check casters for accumulated debris and remove if present. Ensure the locking mechanisms are disengaged.
  • Rods Not Extending/Retracting: Ensure there is no obstruction within the rods. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant if movement is stiff.
