Firing as a Barrel Attachment
When attached to a compatible Nerf Modulus blaster, the BarrelStrike functions as an independent blaster. To fire darts from the BarrelStrike while it is attached:
- Ensure darts are loaded into the BarrelStrike.
- Prime the BarrelStrike by pulling its priming handle downwards and releasing it.
- Press the BarrelStrike's trigger to fire a dart.
- The main blaster's firing mechanism operates separately.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your BarrelStrike blaster, wipe it with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the blaster in water or use harsh chemicals, as this may damage the internal mechanisms or exterior finish.
Storage
Store the blaster and darts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This helps preserve the integrity of the materials and the performance of the darts.
Troubleshooting
Dart Not Firing or Weak Shot
- Check Dart Loading: Ensure darts are fully inserted into the barrels.
- Proper Priming: Make sure the priming handle is pulled all the way down and released completely before firing.
- Dart Condition: Use only official Nerf Elite darts. Damaged, wet, or non-official darts may not fire correctly.
BarrelStrike Not Attaching Securely
- Check Folding Stock: Ensure the folding stock is fully folded back and locked into position to expose the attachment point.
- Compatibility: Verify that the main blaster has a compatible barrel attachment lug.
- Secure Connection: Push the BarrelStrike firmly onto the main blaster's barrel lug until it clicks.
