The tectake Projector Screen is designed to enhance your home cinema experience, offering a large, high-quality projection surface suitable for HDTV and 3D content. Its versatile design allows for continuous adjustment to various aspect ratios, including 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9.

Constructed with a durable, double-layered vinyl fabric (approx. 360 g/m²), the screen includes a weighted bar to ensure a wrinkle-free projection surface. Black border masking and a black backing enhance contrast, providing a vivid and immersive viewing experience. The robust metal casing allows for both wall and ceiling mounting, making it a flexible solution for any setup.

Setup and Installation

Your tectake Projector Screen is designed for easy installation on either a wall or ceiling. Please ensure you have the necessary tools and appropriate fasteners for your specific wall or ceiling material.

Mounting Instructions:

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable location on your wall or ceiling, ensuring it is structurally sound and can support the weight of the screen (approximately 4 kg). Consider viewing angles and projector placement.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the screen casing against the desired mounting surface and mark the positions for the mounting brackets. Ensure the marks are level.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall or ceiling material. Insert wall anchors if necessary.
  4. Attach Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the wall or ceiling using the provided screws.
  5. Hang Screen: Carefully lift the projector screen and hook its casing onto the installed mounting brackets. Ensure it is securely seated.

Note: For ceiling mounting, additional hooks may be required (not included).

Operating the Projector Screen

The tectake Projector Screen features a smooth roll-up mechanism for easy extension and retraction.

Extending the Screen:

  1. Gently pull down on the integrated pull cord or the weighted bar at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Pull the screen down to your desired length. The screen can be continuously adjusted to various formats (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, etc.).
  3. Once at the desired position, release the cord/bar. The screen will lock into place.

Retracting the Screen:

  1. Gently pull down on the pull cord/weighted bar again, slightly further than its current position.
  2. Release the cord/bar slowly. The screen will smoothly retract back into its casing. Guide it gently to prevent rapid retraction.
