It is clinically proven to remove up to 99.9% of plaque from treated areas and is up to 50% more effective for improving gum health compared to string floss. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions before using this product. When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed.

Setup Guide

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the Waterpik Ultra Dental Water Jet from its packaging.
  2. Clean Removable Parts: Before first use, clean all removable parts, including the reservoir and tips, with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Fill the Reservoir: Lift the hinged lid of the reservoir and fill it with warm water. You may also use mouthwash as desired. Ensure the reservoir is securely placed back on the base.
  4. Insert a Tip: Select the desired tip and insert it into the handle until it clicks into place. The tip rotates 360 degrees for easy access to all areas of the mouth.
  5. Prime the Unit (First Use Only): If this is the first time using the unit, or if it has not been used for an extended period, prime it. Set the pressure control dial to high (setting 10). Direct the tip into the sink. Turn the unit ON until water flows from the tip. Turn the unit OFF.
  6. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Adjust Pressure Setting: Select your desired pressure setting using the dial on the base of the unit. Start with a low setting (1-3) and gradually increase as you become accustomed to the water jet.
  2. Position the Tip: Place the tip in your mouth, aiming it at the gumline at a 90-degree angle. Lean over the sink to avoid splashing.
  3. Start Flossing: Turn the unit ON using the switch on the base. Close your lips enough to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
  4. Guide the Water Jet: Begin with the back teeth and work your way forward. Glide the tip along the gumline and pause briefly between each tooth. Continue until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth.
  5. Pause Function: The ergonomic handle includes a convenient pause button. Press and hold this button to temporarily stop the water flow without turning off the unit. Release to resume.
  6. Finish: When finished, turn the unit OFF. Remove the tip by pressing the tip eject button on the handle.

The Waterpik Ultra Dental Water Jet provides approximately 90 seconds of water capacity, ensuring a complete cleaning cycle without the need for refills.
