2. Setup and Installation

Setting up your SaluSpa Miami AirJet hot tub is designed to be straightforward with no tools required. Follow these steps for proper installation:

2.1 Location Selection

• Set up on a level surface that can support the combined weight of the product when filled and all its users.
• Ensure the chosen location has adequate drainage.
• The hot tub must be within 12 ft. of a grounded, grounding-type receptacle.
• Outdoor setup is preferred. If choosing an indoor location, humidity could cause property damage without proper precaution. Consult an expert to confirm the installation area is properly ventilated.

2.2 Inflation and Filling

1. Unpack all components, including the spa, control unit (pump), standard cover, chemical floater, 2 filter cartridges (VI), and repair patch.
2. Connect the inflation hose from the control unit to the spa's inflation valve.
3. Use the pump to quickly inflate the spa until it is firm.
4. Fill the spa with water. The water capacity (80-percent filled) is 177 gallons.
5. Connect the spa pump to a 110/120-volt 3-prong plug. Do NOT use an extension cord or multi-plug adaptor. Only use a grounded socket corresponding to the electrical rating of the the attachment plug.

• Clean or replace the filter cartridges (Type VI) regularly to ensure efficient water filtration. The pump unit includes a filtration system.

4.2 Temperature Protection

• The Freeze Shield automatic heating function helps prevent inner components from freezing during colder temperatures. Ensure this function is active when temperatures drop.
• Always use the included insulated spa cover when the hot tub is not in use. This helps retain heat and keeps debris out.
