3.3 Setting the Timer
The integrated timer allows you to set cooking durations. Once the set time elapses, an audible signal will sound. Consult the full manual for specific instructions on setting and adjusting the timer.
4. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure the hygiene and efficiency of your oven. The Candy FCPK606X/E offers two advanced cleaning systems.
4.1 Pyrolytic Cleaning
For deep cleaning, the pyrolytic cycle heats the oven cavity to approximately 500°C, incinerating food residues and grease into fine ash. After the cycle completes and the oven cools, simply wipe away the ash with a damp cloth. The triple-glazed door remains cool to the touch during this high-temperature process for safety.
4.2 Aqualytic Cleaning (Aquactiva)
For daily or light cleaning, the Aquactiva steam cleaning system is effective. Pour 300 ml of distilled water into the bottom of the oven cavity. Set the oven to 90°C for 30 minutes. The steam generated helps to loosen grease and food deposits. Once the oven has cooled, wipe the interior with a damp cloth.

4.3 General Cleaning
Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers that could damage the stainless steel finish. The included grid and drip tray can be removed and washed by hand or in a dishwasher.

5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your oven.
5.1 Oven Not Operating / Clock Flashing
If the oven is not operating and the clock display is flashing, it typically indicates a power interruption. The oven will not function until the clock is set. To set the clock, refer to the detailed instructions in your full product manual. Generally, this involves pressing a specific button (often 'select' or a clock icon) and using the adjustment buttons to set the correct time, then confirming the setting.
5.2 Uneven Cooking
Ensure that the oven is preheated to the correct temperature before placing food inside. Use the fan-assisted cooking function for more even heat distribution. Avoid overcrowding the oven, which can restrict airflow. Check that the oven racks are positioned correctly.
5.3 Oven Not Heating
Verify that the oven is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker has not tripped. Ensure the correct cooking function and temperature have been selected. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
