1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

• This filter is designed for use with standard faucets only. It is not compatible with pull-out, hand-held, spray-style faucets, or faucets with sensors.
• Ensure proper installation to prevent leaks.
• Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
• The operating temperature range is 41°F (5°C) to 122°F (50°C). Do not use with hot water exceeding this limit.
• A high Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) reading is not an indication of a poor filter. This system retains healthy minerals in water, which may result in a higher TDS reading. This is normal and expected. If you require a reduction in TDS, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system is recommended.

The Waterdrop WD-FC-01 Faucet Water Filter is designed to provide cleaner, better-tasting water directly from your kitchen faucet. It is NSF certified against NSF/ANSI standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine, taste, and odor, and to NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free material.

4. Faucet Compatibility

The Waterdrop WD-FC-01 is designed to fit standard faucets. Please check your faucet type before installation.

Compatible Faucets:

• Round faucets with male threads (0.72" < diameter < 0.86")
• Round faucets with female threads (0.8" < diameter < 0.94")
• Common types include 2-Handle High Arch, Single Handle, and Round Neck faucets.

Incompatible Faucets:

• Pull Down Sprayer faucets
• Pull Out Spring faucets
• Spray Head faucets
• Faucets with sensors

5. Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install your Waterdrop faucet filter:

1. Remove Original Aerator: Unscrew the aerator from your faucet. If necessary, use a wrench.
2. Determine Faucet Thread Type: Check if your faucet has male (threads on the outside) or female (threads on the inside) threads.
3. Select Correct Adapter: Refer to the included adapters and the compatibility chart to choose the appropriate adapter for your faucet. Use plumbing tape on the threads for a secure, leak-free seal if needed.
4. Attach Adapter to Faucet: Screw the selected adapter onto your faucet. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench if necessary, but do not overtighten.
5. Attach Filter Unit: Screw the Waterdrop filter unit onto the installed adapter. Ensure it is securely attached.
6. Flush Filter: Turn on the cold water and let it run through the filter for 5 minutes to flush out any carbon fines and activate the filter.

6. Operation

The Waterdrop WD-FC-01 features a simple switch to select between filtered and unfiltered water.

• Filtered Water: Move the lever to the position indicated for filtered water. Water will flow through the filter cartridge.
• Unfiltered Water: Move the lever to the position indicated for unfiltered water. Water will bypass the filter, suitable for washing dishes or hands.

The filter provides a fast and stable water flow of approximately 0.5 gallons per minute, allowing you to fill four 16.9 oz water bottles in about 1 minute.

Filter Replacement:

Each filter cartridge has a life of approximately 320 gallons or 3 months of typical use, whichever comes first. Regular replacement ensures optimal filtration performance.

Cleaning:

Periodically wipe the exterior of the filter unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
