1. Safety Instructions
Read and understand all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
- Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection (safety glasses or goggles). Use hearing protection when operating the sander. Wear a dust mask, especially when sanding wood or other materials that produce fine dust. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair and clothing away from moving parts.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
- Secure Workpiece: Always secure the workpiece firmly before sanding. Do not hold small pieces by hand.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation in the work area to minimize dust inhalation.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the sander from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transit. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
3.2 Securing the Sander
For stable operation, it is recommended to secure the sander to a workbench using appropriate fasteners through the mounting holes in the base. This will prevent movement and vibration during use.
3.3 Connecting to Power
Connect the power cord to a grounded 230V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch on the sander is in the 'OFF' position before plugging it in.
3.4 Adjusting Work Tables
The work tables for both the band and disc sander can be adjusted for angle. Loosen the locking knobs, set the desired angle, and securely tighten the knobs. For the disc sander, a miter gauge can be used for precise angle sanding.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 General Operation
Before starting, ensure the workpiece is clean and free of obstructions. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection and a dust mask.
- Turn on the sander using the On/Off switch.
- Allow the sanding belt or disc to reach full speed before applying the workpiece.
- Apply light, even pressure to the workpiece against the sanding surface. Avoid excessive force, which can lead to poor results and premature wear of the abrasive.
- Move the workpiece smoothly across the sanding surface to ensure even material removal and prevent gouging.
- Turn off the sander when finished and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving the machine.
4.2 Band Sanding
The vertical sanding belt is ideal for edge sanding, shaping, and removing material from longer workpieces.

4.3 Disc Sanding
The horizontal sanding disc is suitable for flat surface sanding, end grain sanding, and precise angle work when used with the adjustable table and miter gauge.

4.4 Changing Sanding Belts and Discs
Always unplug the sander from the power source before attempting to change any abrasive materials.
- For Sanding Belt: Release the belt tension lever, remove the old belt, and slide on the new belt, ensuring it is centered on the rollers. Re-engage the tension lever.
- For Sanding Disc: Peel off the old adhesive-backed sanding disc. Clean the disc plate surface thoroughly. Apply a new adhesive-backed sanding disc, aligning it carefully with the disc plate.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your sander. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean dust and debris from the machine, especially around the motor vents, sanding surfaces, and work tables. Use compressed air or a brush.
- Abrasive Inspection: Periodically check the sanding belt and disc for wear, tears, or clogging. Replace worn abrasives promptly to maintain sanding efficiency and prevent damage to the workpiece.
- Fastener Check: Ensure all nuts, bolts, and screws are tight. Vibrations during operation can cause fasteners to loosen over time.
- Power Cord Inspection: Inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, cuts, or fraying. Replace damaged cords immediately.
- Storage: Store the sander in a clean, dry place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
