4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Initial Opening and Combination Setting
The key safe is factory set to open with the combination 0-0-0-0.
- Slide the black shutter cover downwards to reveal the dials.
- Rotate the dials to the factory default combination 0-0-0-0.
- Pull the door release lever (located below the dials) downwards. The door will spring open.
- Inside the safe, locate the reset lever on the back of the door. Slide this lever from position A to position B (usually left to right or up to down).
- With the lever in position B, set your desired 4-digit combination by rotating the dials. Choose a memorable but secure combination.
- Slide the reset lever back to position A. Your new combination is now set.
- Close the door, scramble the dials, and test your new combination to ensure it opens correctly before mounting.

4.2 Mounting the Key Safe
Choose a discreet, solid, and weather-protected location for mounting. The key safe is weather-resistant, but direct exposure to extreme elements may reduce its lifespan.
- Open the key safe door (using your new combination).
- Hold the key safe against the desired mounting surface and mark the positions of the four mounting holes on the back panel.
- Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type, drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
- Insert the provided wall plugs (if applicable for your wall type) into the drilled holes.
- Align the key safe with the holes and secure it firmly using the provided screws. Ensure it is tightly fastened and does not wobble.
5. Operating the Key Safe
5.1 Opening the Key Safe
- Slide the black shutter cover downwards.
- Rotate the combination dials to your secret 4-digit code.
- Pull the door release lever downwards. The door will open.
5.2 Storing and Retrieving Keys
Place your keys inside the designated compartment. Ensure the door can close freely without obstruction.
5.3 Closing and Securing the Key Safe
- Close the door firmly until it clicks shut.
- Crucially, scramble the combination dials to random numbers. This prevents unauthorized access.
- Slide the black shutter cover upwards to protect the dials from weather and conceal the combination.

- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Weather Protection: While weather-resistant, periodically check the shutter cover for proper sealing and ensure no debris is obstructing the dials.
- Mounting Check: Periodically inspect the mounting screws to ensure they remain tight and secure.
