For detailed instructions on pairing additional units or configuring specific chimes for different doors, please refer to the comprehensive user guide PDF available online.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Battery Replacement

The wireless doorbell transmitter uses an A23 battery, which can last up to 3 years. When the transmitter's LED indicator no longer lights up or the signal becomes weak, it's time to replace the battery. A small Phillips screwdriver may be required to open the battery compartment.

3.2 Cleaning

To clean the doorbell units, wipe them with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or internal components.

3.3 Weather Resistance

The SadoTech doorbell transmitter is designed to be waterproof and weatherproof, capable of withstanding temperatures from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C). This ensures reliable operation in various outdoor conditions.

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SadoTech Wireless Doorbell, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • No Chime Sound: Ensure the receiver is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check the volume level on the receiver. If the transmitter LED does not light up when pressed, replace the A23 battery.
  • Inconsistent Operation: Verify that the transmitter and receiver are within the effective operating range. While the system has a long range, extreme distances or multiple thick walls can sometimes interfere with the signal.
  • Incorrect Chime for Multiple Units: If you are using multiple receivers and transmitters, ensure they are paired correctly. When pairing, it is recommended to plug in and pair one receiver at a time to avoid unintended pairings. If units are incorrectly paired, reset the receivers and re-pair them individually.
  • Button Not Responding: Check the transmitter battery. Ensure the button is not stuck or obstructed.
