Setup
- Battery Installation: The scale requires 4 AAA batteries, which are included. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Uneven surfaces can affect measurement precision.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To power on, gently press the TARE button. The display will show 'HELLO' and then '0 g'.
- To power off, press and hold the TARE button for a few seconds. The scale will also automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Unit Conversion
- Press the MODE button to cycle through available measurement units: grams (g), pounds and ounces (lb oz), ounces (oz), milliliters for water (water ml), and milliliters for milk (milk ml).

Tare Function
- To weigh ingredients in a container, first place the empty container on the scale.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to '0'.
- Add your ingredients to the container. The scale will display only the weight of the added ingredients.
Calorie Counter
The scale features a built-in calorie counter for 7 specific food items: Chicken, Butter, Sugar, Flour, Egg, Chocolate, and Beef. This function provides instant caloric (Kcal) values based on the weight of the item placed on the scale.
- Ensure the scale is on and tared if using a container.
- Place the food item (e.g., an egg) on the weighing platform. The scale will display its weight.
- Press the corresponding food item button (e.g., EGG). The display will switch from weight to caloric value (Kcal).

Maintenance
- Cleaning: The tempered glass surface is easy to clean. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or submerging the scale in water.
- Storage: Store the scale in a dry place at room temperature. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- Low Battery Indicator: If the display shows 'Lo', replace the 4 AAA batteries.
- Overload Indicator: If the display shows 'EEEE', the scale is overloaded. Remove items immediately to prevent damage. The maximum weight capacity is 22 lbs (10 kg).
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface. Recalibrate by turning it off and on, or by using the tare function with an empty container.
- Display Flashing: The display numbers and letters do not inherently flash. If observed, this may be an artifact of camera recording or external interference.
