Maintenance

Cleaning the Remote

To maintain the remote's appearance and functionality, clean it periodically:

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the remote.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid excessive moisture.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning pads, as these can damage the remote's finish or internal components.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries, as this can lead to leakage or damage.

Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your remote control, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Remote is not responding:
    • Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the TV's IR receiver.
    • Check the batteries. Replace them if they are old or depleted.
    • Verify that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity (+/-).
    • If the remote has been dropped or damaged, internal components may be affected.
  • Specific buttons are not working:
    • Clean around the unresponsive buttons to remove any debris that might be obstructing them.
    • If only certain buttons fail, it might indicate a specific internal fault.
  • Keyboard is not responding:
    • Ensure the remote is flipped to the keyboard side. The remote automatically switches modes.
    • Check if the application you are using on the TV supports keyboard input.

If troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer support.
