Introduction

The ION Audio Party Rocker Plus is a versatile portable speaker system designed for dynamic sound and interactive entertainment. Featuring a powerful 6.5-inch 2-way speaker and a 50-watt dynamic amplifier, it delivers rich and vibrant audio. This unit includes a built-in rechargeable battery, app-controlled party lights, and a microphone, making it ideal for various events and karaoke sessions.

Setup

1. Charging the Battery: Connect the provided charging cable to the DC 9V IN port on the rear panel of the speaker and plug the other end into a power outlet. The unit features a rechargeable battery providing up to 75 hours of music playback or 6 hours with music and light effects.
2. Microphone Setup: The included microphone requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Open the microphone handle, insert the batteries with correct polarity, and close the handle. Connect the microphone cable to the MIC IN port on the control panel.
3. Power On/Off: Locate the POWER switch on the rear control panel. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the unit. Flip to 'OFF' to power off.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Connectivity

To connect your device via Bluetooth, ensure the Party Rocker Plus is powered on. Activate Bluetooth on your audio device (e.g., smartphone, tablet). The speaker will appear as "Party Rocker Plus" in your device's Bluetooth settings. Select it to pair. A confirmation tone will indicate successful pairing.

Auxiliary Input

For non-Bluetooth devices, use the provided 1/8" auxiliary cable. Connect one end to the AUX IN port on the speaker and the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your device.

USB & TF Card Playback

Insert a USB flash drive or TF (MicroSD) card containing MP3 music files into the respective ports on the control panel. The speaker will automatically detect and begin playing music from the inserted media. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next, Previous) on the control panel or remote.

Microphone & Karaoke Features

• Microphone Volume: Adjust the MIC VOL knob on the control panel to set the desired microphone volume.
• Echo Effect: Use the ECHO knob to add a reverberation effect to your vocals for a professional karaoke sound.
• Bass & Treble: Fine-tune the audio output for the microphone using the BASS and TREBLE knobs.
• Recording: The speaker supports recording. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for detailed instructions on using the REC function with USB/TF card.

Party Lights Control

The Party Rocker Plus features a spinning light dome and front LED lights that pulsate to the music. Use the LED SW switch on the rear panel to turn the lights on or off. The lights display six vibrant colors: Red, Green, Blue, Magenta, Orange, and White.

Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of volume, track selection, mode changes, and other playback functions from a distance.

Maintenance

• Keep the unit dry and clean. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity.
• Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Ensure all ports and connections are free from dust and debris.
• Store the unit in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the unit is fully charged or connected to a power source. Check the power switch.
• No Sound: Verify that the volume is turned up on both the speaker and your connected audio device. Check all cable connections. Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, TF) is selected.
• Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Make sure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable. Turn off and restart Bluetooth on your device and the speaker. Try unpairing and re-pairing.
• Sound Distortion: If distortion occurs, especially with high bass levels, try adjusting the tone or EQ control on your sound source to lower the bass. This allows for louder playback before distortion. Reduce the main volume on the speaker or your device.
• Microphone Not Working: Check if the microphone batteries are correctly inserted and charged. Ensure the microphone is switched on and its volume knob is turned up.
• Lights Not Working: Check the LED SW switch on the rear panel.
