3. Operation

3.1 Loading Towels

  • Open the steamer door.
  • Arrange clean, damp towels on the three internal shelves. Do not overload the shelves, ensuring proper steam circulation.
  • Avoid using towels treated with bleach, softeners, or other chemicals, as these can cause mineral buildup or damage to the unit.
  • Close the steamer door securely.

3.2 Powering On and Temperature Adjustment

  1. Flip the "ON | OFF" switch to the "ON" position. The "POWER" indicator light (red) will illuminate.

  • The "WATER LOW" indicator light will illuminate when the water level in the reservoir is low. Refill with distilled water immediately to prevent damage to the heating element.
  • The unit features an automatic shut-off function for safety. If the water level drops too low, the steamer will automatically power off.

3.4 Removing Towels

Use heat-resistant gloves or tongs when removing hot towels from the steamer to avoid burns.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Regular Cleaning

  • Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • The interior, including the stainless-steel shelves and walls, should be cleaned regularly to prevent mineral buildup.
  • Remove the shelves and clean them separately with mild soap and water.
  • Wipe down the interior walls and the bottom of the reservoir.

4.2 Preventing Mineral Buildup and Rust

  • Only use distilled water in the reservoir. Tap water contains minerals that will accumulate and can cause rust and damage to the heating element and interior surfaces.
  • Regularly empty and clean the water reservoir to remove any sediment or mineral deposits.
  • Ensure towels are free of chemical residues (e.g., bleach, fabric softeners) before steaming, as these can contribute to corrosion.
