4.1 Gameplay Modes
- Championship Mode: Engage in high-tech, head-to-head racing against rival AI racers or other players. This mode allows you to utilize virtual hazards and pit stops.
- Freeplay Mode: Race off-track with the smart cars, using them as standalone remote-control vehicles. This mode offers flexibility for play beyond the track.
4.2 Skill Levels
The system features three adjustable skill levels to accommodate drivers of all experience levels:
- Slow (Beginner): Provides nearly 100% driving assistance, helping cars stay on track and allowing for lane changes. Ideal for new users.
- Medium (Intermediate): Faster speeds with less assistance. Requires more control, as cars can fly off the track if speed is not managed on turns.
- High (Expert): Very fast speeds with minimal assistance, demanding precise control. All virtual hazards are available in this mode.
4.3 Virtual Hazards and Pit Stops
In Championship Mode, you can deploy virtual hazards to impede your opponents:
- Oil Spills: Causes opponents to lose traction.
- Tire Blowouts: Temporarily disables an opponent's car.
Hazards are recharged by entering designated pit stop areas on the track. The number of available hazards varies by skill level.
5. Maintenance
5.1 General Care
- Keep track pieces clean and free of dust or debris to ensure optimal car performance.
- Store track pieces flat or rolled loosely to prevent warping or damage to connectors.
- Wipe cars and controllers with a dry, soft cloth. Do not immerse in water.
5.2 Battery Replacement
Replace AAA batteries in controllers when performance diminishes. Always use fresh batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly.
