3.6 First Use

Before first use, run an empty wash cycle to clean the interior and prime the water system. Ensure all internal components like spray arms and filters are correctly installed.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Loading the Dishwasher

  • Scrape off large food particles from dishes before loading.
  • Place items in the racks so water can reach all surfaces. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Use the flat rack for plates and trays, the peg rack for glasses and bowls, and the cutlery container for silverware.
  • Ensure spray arms can rotate freely and are not blocked by tall items.

4.2 Selecting a Wash Cycle

The control panel features touch controls for cycle selection. Refer to the icons on the panel to choose the appropriate wash cycle based on the soil level of the dishes. Typical cycles include short, medium, and long wash options.

4.3 Starting a Cycle

Close the dishwasher door securely. Press the desired cycle button on the control panel. The machine will automatically fill with water, heat it to the required temperature, dispense chemicals, and begin the wash and rinse cycles. A built-in pressure gauge monitors water pressure during operation.

4.4 After the Cycle

Once the cycle is complete, the machine will indicate its finished status. Carefully open the door to allow steam to escape. Unload the clean dishes. It is recommended to turn off the main power switch at the end of the day.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Filter Cleaning: At the end of each day, remove and clean the tray filters and the main filter. Rinse them under running water to remove food debris.
  • Spray Arm Inspection: Check the wash and rinse arms for clogged nozzles. Use a small brush or toothpick to clear any blockages.
  • Interior Wipe Down: Wipe down the interior surfaces of the dishwasher with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
  • Drain: The machine allows for draining after several washes or as desired. Ensure the drain pump is functioning correctly.

5.2 Weekly/Monthly Cleaning

  • Descaling: Depending on water hardness, periodic descaling may be necessary. Use a commercial descaling agent suitable for dishwashers, following the product's instructions.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel exterior with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

5.3 Winterization/Extended Storage

If the dishwasher will be out of use for an extended period or stored in an area subject to freezing temperatures, it must be properly winterized. This involves completely draining all water from the machine, including the pumps and hoses, to prevent damage from freezing.
