4. Setup

  1. Choose a Location: Select a flat, level surface in your backyard, free from sharp objects, rocks, or debris. Ensure the area is large enough to accommodate the pool's dimensions (approximately 90"L x 86"W x 31"H) and allows for safe entry and exit.
  2. Unfold the Pool: Carefully unfold the pool and lay it flat in your chosen location.
  3. Inflate the Chambers: The pool features two main air chambers and an integrated bench/backrest chamber.
    • Locate the combo valves on each chamber.
    • Open the valve caps.
    • Using an air pump (not included), inflate each chamber until it is firm to the touch but not overinflated. Overinflation can cause damage.
    • Close the valve caps securely after inflation.
  4. Fill with Water: Once fully inflated, begin filling the pool with water using a garden hose. Fill to the recommended water level, which is approximately 12-1/2 inches of wall height, corresponding to a water capacity of 156 gallons.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the pool to prevent algae and dirt buildup. Use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Draining: To drain the pool, locate the drain plug at the bottom. Open the plug to release the water. Ensure the water drains to an appropriate area, away from structures or sensitive landscaping.
  • Drying: After draining, allow the pool to dry completely in the sun before deflating and storing. This prevents mold and mildew.
  • Storage: Deflate the pool by opening all valve caps. Once deflated and dry, fold it neatly and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Patching: In case of small punctures, use the included repair patch (if applicable) following its instructions. Clean and dry the area around the puncture before applying the patch.
