Ducting Options:
- Ducted Installation: Vents air outside the home. Requires a 6-inch duct.
- Ductless (Recirculating) Installation: Requires the purchase of a Carbon Filter Kit (Part # CFK1-TM), sold separately. This kit allows the hood to filter and recirculate air back into the kitchen.
Electrical Requirements:
The unit requires a 120V/60Hz electrical connection and comes with a 3-prong plug.
Important Installation Notes:
Installation can be complex. It is recommended to have an extra set of hands for mounting the main unit. Consider using stronger wall mounting anchors than those supplied if necessary. Proper positioning of the electrical receptacle is crucial to avoid interference with the vent pipe. Professional installation is advised for optimal results and safety.

Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your range hood.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fan not operating | No power supply; fan speed not selected. | Check electrical connection and circuit breaker. Ensure the power button is pressed and a fan speed is selected. |
| Poor suction | Clogged filters; improper ducting; fan speed too low. | Clean or replace filters. Verify ducting is correctly installed and free of obstructions. Increase fan speed. |
| Excessive noise | Loose components; improper installation; fan speed too high. | Check for loose parts and tighten. Ensure proper installation. Reduce fan speed if noise is only at highest setting. |
| Lights not working | Bulb failure; electrical issue. | Check if LED lights need replacement. Verify electrical connections. |
| Clock is inaccurate | Internal clock drift. | Reset the clock as needed. This is a known minor issue for some users. |
