Introduction

Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are present and clean. The feeder requires one AA battery (not included) for operation.

1. Battery Installation: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the feeder. Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
2. Tray and Ice Pack Placement: Place the provided ice pack into its designated slot beneath the food tray. Ensure the ice pack is frozen for optimal food freshness, especially with wet food. Insert the removable food tray into the main compartment.
3. Initial Cleaning: It is recommended to wash the removable food tray with warm, soapy water before its first use. The tray is dishwasher safe (top rack only).

Operating Instructions

The TRIXIE TX1 feeder allows you to schedule a single meal for your pet up to 48 hours in advance.

1. Fill the Food Tray: The BPA-free plastic tray can hold up to 10 ounces of dry kibble or semi-moist food. Fill the tray with the desired portion for your pet.
2. Set the Timer: The feeder features a mechanical timer dial. Rotate the dial clockwise to set the desired feeding time. The timer can be set in 1-hour increments, up to a maximum of 48 hours. Align the arrow on the dial with the number of hours until the meal should be dispensed.
3. Lid Closure: Once the timer is set, close the lid of the feeder. The lid will remain closed until the set time elapses, at which point it will automatically open to reveal the food.
4. Placement: Place the feeder on a stable, flat surface where your pet can easily access it.

• Food Tray: The removable food tray is dishwasher safe and can be placed on the top rack for easy cleaning. For manual cleaning, wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
• Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water, as this can damage the electronic components.
• Ice Pack: Clean the ice pack with warm, soapy water as needed. Inspect for any leaks or damage before each use.
