Setup

1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the camcorder.
  2. Insert the lithium battery, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. Connect the camcorder to a power source using the provided USB cable and a compatible USB power adapter (not always included). The charging indicator light will illuminate.
  5. Allow the battery to fully charge before first use.

2. Memory Card Installation

The camcorder supports SD flash memory cards (not included). A memory card is required to store videos and photos.

  1. Locate the SD card slot, typically on the side or bottom of the camcorder.
  2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction, gently pushing until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

Operating

1. Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power button until the LCD screen illuminates.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

2. Recording Video

  1. Ensure the camcorder is in video recording mode (check the mode switch or menu).
  2. Frame your subject using the 2.7-inch LCD screen.
  3. Use the zoom controls (W/T) to adjust the 8X digital zoom.
  4. Press the Record button to start recording. A red indicator light or on-screen icon will show that recording is in progress.
  5. Press the Record button again to stop recording.

3. Taking Photos

  1. Switch the camcorder to still photo mode.
  2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
  3. Press the Shutter button (often the same as the Record button, or a dedicated button) to capture a photo.

4. Playback

  • Enter Playback mode via the mode switch or menu.
  • Use the navigation buttons to browse through your recorded videos and photos.
  • Press the Play/OK button to view a selected file.

5. Connecting to a Computer (USB)

  1. Ensure the camcorder is powered off.
  2. Connect the camcorder to your computer using the provided USB cable.
  3. The camcorder should appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
  4. You can then transfer your video (MP4) and photo (JPEG) files to your computer.

6. HDMI Output

Connect the camcorder to an HDMI-compatible display (e.g., TV) using an HDMI cable (not included) to view your recordings on a larger screen.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camcorder body.
  • For the lens and LCD screen, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials.
  • Do not use strong chemical cleaners.

2. Battery Care

  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
  • If storing the camcorder for an extended period, remove the battery.
  • Recharge the battery periodically if not in use to maintain its lifespan.

3. Storage
