1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

Observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the monitor or injury to yourself and others.

  • Do not place the monitor on an unstable cart, stand, or table.
  • Do not block ventilation openings.
  • Do not use the monitor near water or sources of heat.
  • Use only the power cord and adapter supplied with the monitor.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the Stand

  1. Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
  2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. Attach the stand base to the stand neck. Tighten the screw at the bottom of the base if necessary.

4.2 Connecting to a Device

The monitor supports HDMI and VGA connectivity.

  1. Power Off: Ensure both the monitor and your computer/device are powered off before making connections.
  2. Connect Video Cable: Connect one end of an HDMI or VGA cable to the corresponding port on your computer/device. Connect the other end to the HDMI IN or D-SUB (VGA) port on the back of the monitor.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the power cable to the monitor's power input, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.
  4. Power On: Power on your computer/device, then power on the monitor.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the bottom right of the monitor to turn it on or off.

5.2 Menu Navigation

The monitor features a single joystick-style button for menu navigation. Press the button to open the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. Move the joystick up, down, left, or right to navigate through options and press to select.

5.3 Picture Settings

  • Brightness/Contrast: Adjust these settings to suit your viewing environment.
  • Eye Saver Mode: This mode reduces blue light emissions to optimize viewing comfort and minimize eye strain. Activate it via the OSD menu.

  • Eco-Saving Plus: This feature automatically adjusts screen brightness to reduce power consumption. It offers various levels of energy saving.

5.4 AMD FreeSync

The monitor supports AMD FreeSync technology, which synchronizes the screen refresh rate with your graphics card's frame rate to reduce image tearing and stuttering during gaming or video playback. Enable FreeSync through your graphics card settings and the monitor's OSD menu.

6. Maintenance

To maintain your monitor's performance and appearance:

  • Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth with a small amount of screen cleaner specifically designed for monitors. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.
  • Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the monitor casing. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings on the monitor are not blocked to prevent overheating.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
