Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
  2. Slide the cover open in the direction indicated by the arrow.
  3. Insert two (2) AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as marked.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

The radio is designed to operate for up to 100 hours at normal listening levels on fresh AA batteries.

Power On/Off

Tuning AM/FM Stations

Setting and Recalling Presets

The radio allows for 15 direct recall presets (10 FM, 5 AM).

  1. Tune to your desired station.
  2. Press and hold the MEM/SCAN button until the preset number flashes on the display.
  3. Use the Tuning Buttons to select the desired preset number.
  4. Press MEM/SCAN again to confirm and save the station.
  5. To recall a preset, short press the MEM/SCAN button and then use the Tuning Buttons to cycle through saved stations.

Volume Control

Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the side of the radio to adjust the listening level.

Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB)

Press the DBB button to activate or deactivate the Dynamic Bass Boost feature, which enhances low-frequency sounds for a fuller audio experience.

Stereo/Mono Switch

When using headphones, slide the Stereo/Mono switch to select between stereo sound (for FM broadcasts) or mono sound (which can improve reception for weak signals).

Auto Shut-Off

The radio features a 90-minute auto shut-off timer. To activate it, short press the Sleep button. The radio will automatically turn off after 90 minutes. To disable this feature, press and hold the Sleep button when turning the radio on until a beep confirms the change.

Real Time Clock

The radio includes a built-in real-time clock, visible on the LCD display when the radio is off or in standby mode.
