  3. Dip the decal in lukewarm water for 10-20 seconds until it slides freely on its backing paper.
  4. Carefully slide the decal onto the model surface.
  5. Position the decal using a wet paintbrush or cotton swab.

Once assembled and painted, your model can be displayed on a shelf or stand. To maintain its appearance:

  • Keep the model away from direct sunlight to prevent fading of paint and decals.
  • Avoid extreme temperature changes.
  • Dust gently with a soft brush or compressed air. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials for cleaning.
  • Handle the model by its sturdy parts (e.g., fuselage) to avoid damaging delicate components.

8. Troubleshooting Common Assembly Issues

  • Parts not fitting: Check part numbers against the instructions. Sometimes a small amount of sanding or trimming may be required due to manufacturing tolerances.
  • Gaps between parts: Use plastic filler putty to fill any noticeable gaps after gluing. Sand smooth once dry.
  • Decals not adhering: Ensure the surface is glossy and clean. Use decal setting solution.
  • Paint issues: If paint is too thick, thin it slightly. If paint is uneven, apply more thin coats. Ensure proper drying time between coats.
