Setup Instructions
1. Antenna Placement
Place the Telestar Antenna 9 LTE in a location that offers the best possible reception. For indoor use, a position near a window or on a higher shelf is often optimal. Avoid placing the antenna near large metal objects or other electronic devices that might cause interference. Experiment with different orientations to find the best signal strength.

2. Connecting the Antenna
- Locate the coaxial input port on your DVB-T2 receiver or television.
- Connect one end of the coaxial cable (not included, typically supplied with your receiver) to the antenna's output port.
- Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the DVB-T2 input port on your receiver or TV.

3. Power Supply
The Telestar Antenna 9 LTE requires power for its active amplification. You have two options:
- External Power Adapter: Connect the provided external power adapter to the antenna's power input port and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
- 5V Power from Receiver: If your DVB-T2 receiver or TV supports 5V antenna power output via the coaxial cable, you can enable this feature in your device's settings. In this case, the external power adapter is not needed. Consult your receiver's manual for instructions on enabling 5V antenna power.

4. Channel Scan
After connecting the antenna and ensuring it is powered, perform a channel scan on your DVB-T2 receiver or television. This process typically involves navigating to the "Settings" or "Setup" menu, selecting "Channel Search" or "Auto Scan," and initiating the scan. The device will then search for available digital TV and radio channels.
Operating Instructions
General Use
Once the setup is complete and channels are scanned, you can begin watching digital TV or listening to digital radio. Use your receiver's remote control to navigate through channels and access program guides.
Optimizing Reception
If you experience poor signal quality or missing channels, try the following:
- Reposition the Antenna: Slightly adjust the antenna's position and orientation. Even small changes can significantly impact signal reception.
- Rescan Channels: After repositioning, perform another channel scan on your receiver to detect any newly available or stronger signals.
- Check for Obstructions: Ensure there are no new obstructions (e.g., furniture, appliances) blocking the antenna's line of sight to the broadcast tower.
LTE Filter Functionality
The integrated LTE filter automatically works to suppress interference from 4G/5G mobile signals (LTE), GSM, and DECT cordless phones. This feature helps maintain clear and stable reception, especially in areas with high mobile network activity. No user intervention is required for the LTE filter to function.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the antenna, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or solvents, as these can damage the antenna's finish or internal components.
Environmental Considerations
The Telestar Antenna 9 LTE is designed for indoor use. While it can be used for camping, ensure it is protected from direct exposure to rain, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Store the antenna in a dry, cool place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No signal or "No Signal" message on TV. | Antenna not connected, not powered, or poor signal reception. |
|
| Poor picture/sound quality (pixelation, freezing). | Weak signal, interference, or antenna not optimally positioned. |
|
| Missing channels after scanning. | Antenna not receiving all available frequencies or local signal strength is low. |
