Maintenance

Cleaning

After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the transducer and display unit with fresh water. Wipe them dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Battery Care

For the main unit's rechargeable battery, ensure it is fully charged before long periods of storage. For the transducer's CR2032 battery, remove it if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Storage

Store the fish finder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it out of reach of children.

Important Note: Do not test the fish finder in swimming pools, bathtubs, buckets, fish tanks, sinks, or similar confined water bodies. The sonar requires open water to function correctly and provide accurate readings.

Troubleshooting

No Signal or Inaccurate Readings

  • Ensure the transducer is fully submerged in water and the battery cover is tightly sealed.
  • Check the battery level of both the main unit and the transducer. Replace the CR2032 battery in the transducer if it's low.
  • Verify that the main unit is powered on and within range of the transducer.
  • Adjust the sensitivity setting on the main unit. High sensitivity can sometimes pick up too much noise, while low sensitivity might miss targets.
  • Avoid using the device in very shallow water (less than 2 feet) or in water with excessive weeds or debris, which can interfere with sonar signals.

Display Not Turning On

  • Ensure the main unit is fully charged. Connect it to a USB power source and allow it to charge for a few hours.
  • Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it registers.
