Setup

1. Connecting the Headset

The Siberia 350 connects to your device via a USB cable. Simply plug the USB connector into an available USB port on your PC, laptop, or gaming console. The headset is designed for plug-and-play functionality.

2. Software Installation (SteelSeries Engine)

For full functionality, including DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound and Prism RGB illumination customization, download and install the SteelSeries Engine software from the official SteelSeries website (steelseries.com/engine). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

3. Initial Configuration

After installing the SteelSeries Engine, launch the application. The software should automatically detect your Siberia 350 headset. You can then access various settings:

  • Microphone Settings: Control microphone volume, sidetone (hearing your own voice), and noise reduction.

Operating the Headset

1. Adjusting Fit and Comfort

The Siberia 350 features a lightweight suspension headband designed for comfort during extended use. The earcups are circumaural, fully enclosing your ears. Adjust the headband for a snug yet comfortable fit. The earcups are designed to pivot slightly to conform to your head shape.

2. Microphone Usage

The headset includes a retractable microphone. To use the microphone, gently pull it out from the left earcup. Position the microphone approximately 1-2 inches from your mouth for optimal voice clarity. To mute the microphone, use the inline remote control or the SteelSeries Engine software. When not in use, the microphone can be pushed back into the earcup for storage.

3. Volume Control

Adjust the audio volume using the inline remote control located on the headset cable. Slide the wheel up or down to increase or decrease the volume. This remote also typically includes a microphone mute switch.

Enable DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound through the SteelSeries Engine software for an immersive audio experience. This feature provides spatial audio cues, enhancing directional awareness in games.

5. Prism RGB Illumination

Customize the lighting effects on the earcups using the SteelSeries Engine software. Choose from a spectrum of colors and various lighting modes to personalize your headset's appearance.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the headset's surfaces.

  • Software Not Detecting Headset:

  • Sound Quality Issues (Crackling, Distortion):
