Setup

Unpacking and Assembly

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Assemble the pedestal base and main unit according to the diagrams provided in the physical instruction manual (if applicable). Ensure all connections are secure.

Power Connection

1. Connect the AC Power Adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the karaoke system.
2. Plug the AC Power Adapter into a standard wall outlet.

Connecting to a TV/External Audio System

Use the included RCA cable to connect the karaoke system to your television or external audio system for enhanced sound and lyric display on a larger screen.

• Connect the VIDEO OUT jack (yellow) on the karaoke system to the VIDEO IN jack on your TV.
• Connect the AUDIO OUT jacks (white/red) on the karaoke system to the AUDIO IN jacks on your TV or audio system.

Microphone Connection

Plug the wired microphone into one of the MIC INPUT jacks on the karaoke system.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

Press the POWER button to turn the system on or off.

Playing CD+G/CD Discs

1. Open the CD compartment door.
2. Place a CD+G or CD disc onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
3. Close the CD compartment door.
4. The system will automatically begin playing or display the track list.
5. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and REPEAT buttons to control playback.

Bluetooth Pairing and Streaming

The ISM1020BT allows wireless digital audio streaming from compatible devices.

1. Ensure the karaoke system is powered on.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
3. Search for "SINGING MACHINE" in your device's Bluetooth settings.
4. Select "SINGING MACHINE" to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
5. Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the karaoke system.

Using the Device Cradle

The integrated cradle supports iOS, Android, and Microsoft devices (sold separately) for convenient placement while streaming music or displaying scrolling lyrics from your device.

Microphone and Voice Controls

• MASTER VOLUME: Adjusts the overall sound output level.
• MIC 1/2 VOLUME: Adjusts the volume of the connected microphones.
• ECHO: Adds an echo effect to the microphone vocals.
• BALANCE: Adjusts the balance between the pre-recorded vocals and the music on multiplex CD+G tracks.
• AUTO VOICE CONTROL (AVC): Automatically reduces the main vocal on multiplex CD+G tracks when you sing into the microphone.
• DIGITAL KEY: Adjusts the musical key of the song to better suit your vocal range without changing the tempo.

Recording Your Performance (USB)

The ISM1020BT features a built-in USB port for recording your audio performance.

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
2. Press the RECORD button to begin recording.
3. Sing into the microphone while music is playing.
4. Press the RECORD button again to stop recording.
5. Your performance will be saved to the USB drive.
