  • Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the product.
  • Dispose of batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
• Operating Environment:
  • Operate the buggy in open areas, away from people, pets, and obstacles.

  • Do not operate in public roads or areas with vehicle traffic.

Setup

1. Charging the Buggy Battery

1. Connect the NiMh 6V 500mAh battery pack to the USB charging lead.
2. Plug the USB charging lead into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
3. Observe the indicator light on the USB charging lead. It will typically show red during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
4. Charging time may vary, refer to the charging lead's specific instructions for details. Do not overcharge.

2. Installing Transmitter Battery

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the 2.4 GHz Transmitter.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the 9V block battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Installing Buggy Battery

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the Cubic Desert Buggy.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Connect the fully charged NiMh 6V 500mAh battery pack to the buggy's power connector.
4. Carefully place the battery inside the compartment and close the cover securely.

4. Pairing the Transmitter and Buggy

1. Ensure both the buggy and the transmitter are turned off.
2. Turn on the buggy first. The indicator light on the buggy may flash.
3. Within a few seconds, turn on the transmitter.
4. The indicator lights on both the buggy and transmitter should become solid, indicating a successful connection. If not, turn both off and repeat the process.

Operating Instructions

Once the buggy and transmitter are paired, you are ready to operate your Cubic Desert Buggy.

Transmitter Controls:

• Throttle Trigger: Pull to move forward, push to move backward (reverse).
• Steering Wheel: Turn left to steer left, turn right to steer right.
• Trim Adjustments: Small dials or sliders may be present to fine-tune steering (to ensure the buggy drives straight) or throttle (for consistent speed). Adjust as needed.

Driving Tips:

• Start slowly to get a feel for the controls.
• Practice steering and throttle control in an open area.
• The buggy features a suspended chassis and rubber wheels for off-road performance.
• Adjust the wheel alignment if the buggy does not drive straight.
• Avoid driving into walls or hard objects at high speed to prevent damage.
