The Nerf Modulus Tri-Strike blaster offers three distinct ways to engage in play, allowing for versatile customization. It can be used as separate components or combined into a single, powerful blaster system.

What's Included:

Setup and Assembly

The Nerf Modulus Tri-Strike blaster is designed for modular assembly, allowing you to configure it in various ways. Follow these steps to assemble your blaster system.

Assembling the Rocket Launcher:

The rocket launcher component can be used independently or attached to the main blaster. To assemble it as a standalone unit:

  1. Locate the two orange buttons on the sides of the main blaster's stock attachment point. Press both buttons simultaneously.
  2. Pull the stock piece away from the main blaster.
  3. Locate the top part of the rocket launcher (the scope-like attachment). Pull it forward to detach it from the main blaster.
  4. Connect the stock piece to the top part of the rocket launcher. Ensure they click securely into place.
  5. To fire, pull back the handle on the stock and then push it forward to launch a foam rocket.

Assembling the standalone rocket launcher

Attaching the Mega Barrel:

The Mega barrel attaches to the front of the main blaster. It features four barrels for Mega darts.

  1. Align the Mega barrel with the front attachment point of the main blaster.
  2. Twist and push the Mega barrel onto the main blaster until it locks securely.
  3. To fire, load Mega darts into the barrels. Grab the gray part of the barrel, push up, and pull back to launch a dart.

Full Blaster Assembly:

To combine all components into the full Tri-Strike configuration, attach the Mega barrel to the front of the main blaster and the rocket launcher assembly to the rear stock attachment point.

Operating Instructions

The Nerf Modulus Tri-Strike blaster offers three distinct firing modes, each utilizing different ammunition types.

1. Elite Dart Blaster (Main Blaster):

This is the core component of the Tri-Strike system, firing Elite darts from a 10-dart clip.

  1. Insert the 10-dart clip into the magazine well of the main blaster.
  2. Pull the orange bolt handle back until it clicks, then push it forward to prime the blaster.
  3. Press the trigger to fire an Elite dart.
  4. For rapid firing (Slam-Fire), hold down the trigger and repeatedly pull the bolt handle back and forth.

2. Mega Dart Blaster (Barrel Attachment):

This attachment fires larger Mega darts and can be used when attached to the main blaster.

  1. Load up to 4 Mega darts into the barrels of the Mega attachment.
  2. To fire, firmly pull the gray handle on the underside of the Mega barrel upwards and then push it down. This action launches a Mega dart.

3. Rocket Launcher (Stock Attachment):

The rocket launcher fires a single foam rocket and can be used attached to the main blaster or as a standalone unit.

  1. Load one foam rocket into the front of the rocket launcher barrel.
  2. To fire, pull the stock handle back firmly and then push it forward to launch the rocket.

If you encounter issues with your Nerf Modulus Tri-Strike blaster, refer to these common troubleshooting tips.

Dart Jams:

Dart jams can occur, especially with worn darts or improper loading. To clear a jam:

  1. Ensure the blaster is not primed.
  2. Remove the magazine by pulling back on the magazine release lever (located near the trigger guard). The magazine should fall out.
  3. Open the jam access door on the top of the blaster.
  4. Carefully remove any jammed darts or debris from the internal mechanism. Ensure the path is clear.
  5. Close the jam access door securely.
  6. Reinsert the magazine and re-prime the blaster before attempting to fire again.

Note: Using new, undamaged darts can significantly reduce the frequency of jams.
