1. Safety Information

This product is recommended for ages 4 to 10 years (48 to 120 months). Adult supervision is recommended during play, especially with smaller components.

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all included items are present: the ambulance vehicle, three figures, a stretcher, and various small accessories.

2.2 Initial Assembly

The main ambulance unit requires no assembly. Small accessories, such as medical equipment, can be placed as desired by the user.

2.3 Battery Installation

The Playmobil Rescue Ambulance requires batteries for its lights, sirens, and monitor lighting functions.

  • Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside or roof of the ambulance.
  • Unscrew the battery compartment cover using a small Phillips head screwdriver.
  • Insert 2 x 1.5V micro batteries and 3 x 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  • Replace the cover and secure it with the screw.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Activating Lights and Sirens

Press the button located on the roof of the ambulance to activate the flashing lights and siren sounds. Pressing the button again will cycle through different light and sound patterns or turn them off.

3.2 Using the Stretcher and Figures

The included figures can bend, sit, stand, and turn their heads, allowing for realistic role-play. Place a figure on the stretcher and use the handles to transport it. The stretcher can be secured inside the ambulance for transport.

3.3 Accessing the Interior

The ambulance features rear doors that open for easy loading and unloading of the stretcher. The roof panel is removable, providing full access to the interior for placing figures and accessories.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the ambulance and figures, wipe them with a damp cloth. Do not immerse electronic components in water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

4.2 Battery Replacement

When the lights dim or the siren sounds weaken, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 2.3.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Lights and Sirens Not Working

  • Check if batteries are correctly installed with proper polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • Ensure the battery compartment cover is securely closed.

5.2 Small Parts Lost

Due to the nature of small toy components, some accessories may become misplaced. Regularly check play areas for small parts to prevent loss and ensure safety.
