Setup

1. Handlebar Assembly and Adjustment

Unfold the handlebar and secure it using the quick-release levers. The handlebar height can be adjusted to three different positions for optimal user comfort.

2. Battery Insertion

Open the battery compartment cover. Insert two fully charged 18V Power X-Change batteries into their respective slots until they click into place. Ensure the batteries are securely seated.

3. Grass Catcher Box / Mulching Wedge Installation

Depending on your preference, either attach the grass catcher box or insert the mulching wedge. The grass catcher box collects clippings, while the mulching wedge allows for fine chopping and distribution of clippings back onto the lawn.

4. Cutting Height Adjustment

The cutting height can be centrally adjusted to six different positions, ranging from 25 mm to 75 mm. Use the lever on the side of the mower to select the desired cutting height.

Operating

1. Starting and Stopping the Mower

To start, press the safety button and then pull the switch lever towards the handlebar. To stop, release the switch lever. The blades will continue to rotate briefly after release.

2. Mowing Techniques

For best results, mow in straight, overlapping lines. Avoid overloading the motor by not attempting to cut excessively long or wet grass in a single pass. For very tall grass, it is recommended to make two passes, setting a higher cutting height for the first pass.

3. Grass Catcher Box Usage

The grass catcher box has a level indicator that shows when it needs emptying. When the indicator is full, switch off the mower, wait for the blades to stop, and then remove and empty the box.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

After each use, clean the mower thoroughly. Remove grass clippings and dirt from the housing, cutting deck, and wheels. Do not use high-pressure cleaners or running water directly on the electrical components.

2. Blade Care

Regularly inspect the cutting blade for damage or dullness. A sharp blade ensures a clean cut and reduces strain on the motor. If necessary, have the blade sharpened or replaced by a qualified service technician.

3. Battery Care

Store batteries in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, ensure batteries are partially charged (around 50%). Do not store fully discharged or fully charged batteries for extended periods.

4. Storage

For space-saving storage, the handlebar can be folded down using the quick-release levers. Store the mower in a dry, secure location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

• Mower does not start: Check if batteries are fully charged and properly inserted. Ensure the safety button is pressed before pulling the switch lever.
• Poor cutting performance: The blade may be dull or damaged. Check for grass buildup under the deck. Adjust cutting height if grass is too long.
• Excessive vibration: Check for loose components or a damaged/unbalanced blade. Stop operation immediately and inspect.
